Green Resource Network was launched in 2008 by two colleagues who met while working at Microsoft. They sought to bring their consumer-focused experience in the technology industry -- delivering great products on time and on budget -- to the green industry. They are excited by the opportunity to bring their analytical skills and results-driven orientation to improving the community and the environment.

"We hired Green Resource Network to help us green our school districts in a holistic way. They were highly professional and responsive and customized their services to fit our specific needs. They worked on a number of sustainability initiatives, including electricity and water audits, renewable energy planning, and investigating green services providers. They even helped us apply for some low-interest financing options for our sustainability initiatives. They were able to identify several opportunities for us to save on operating costs while going green. They were also effective at keeping our stakeholders, such as our school board, apprised of our sustainability plans." -- Tim Hanretty, Assistant Superintendant, Portola Valley and Woodside Elementary School Districts
